Information on Club Constitutions can be found on the Swim England website

Diving Camp - Team B
The next regional diving camp will be running on 20th January in Luton for divers selected for Team B.

This is also an excellent coach development opportunity for both Level 1 and Level 2 coaches.  Any coaches wishing to attend should contact bookings@eastswimming.org by Friday 11th January.
Synchro Development Day
A synchro development day will run on 13th January with the aim of supporting swimmers who are taking figure grades 3 and above at the next regional grading day.

Swimming Coaching Conference - Save the Date
The Swim England Talent Team are running a Regional Coaching Conference on 10th March 2019 at Feckenham Village Hall.

Meet Licensing
Swim England have recently revised the requirements for the minimum number, and allocation, of officials at Licensed Meets.

As a result, Level 1, 2 and 3 meets are no longer required to have the role of finish judge or Chief Timekeeper, the requirement to have finish judges is also relaxed for Level 4 meets when AOE is in use.  As always, it is for the Lead Referee to decide whether additional officials should be appointed.

The revised Open Meets Licensing Criteria also defines what is meant by J1 in training.
Teaching and Coaching Register
Between January and March 2019, Swim England will be asking clubs to submit information regarding their teachers and coaches, including qualifications held, to build a national teaching and coaching register.

This will allow Swim England to build an accurate picture of teachers and coaches and support them accordingly.
